Willows Tower
East St. Louis, Illinois

Willows Tower was built in 1903 and has a Taylor Interlocking Machine and a model board made by WRRS company. The tower was built to handle rail traffic from the East for the 1904 Worlds Fair in St. Louis Mo. Red levers are for signals, black levers are for Switches, Brown levers are for Locks, and White levers are Out of Service. The Polar relays still work and there are the old type of fuses that they have to replace, normally when there is snow or ice on the ground. The old amp meter also works. When you throw a switch the yellow light on the model board goes out and the amp meter goes to 10 amps. Neat old tower! Any information you want to add please email me.
