Signals from CN Railroad
Mike B. from the CN Railroad and I had worked out a agreement about getting several scrap signals. Alex and I left for Pontiac Michigan on Nov 14th around 6.30pm. We arrived at the CN office around 7Am and our pickup time was 3Pm. We drove all night and got a few hours of sleep before the pickup. I have to say this, as we were going to follow Mike to the signals we couldn't get the truck started, someone forgot the headlights on...... Sorry Alex just had to mention that! Thanks to Jason and Ricky we got the signals loaded quite quickly. They loaded the crossing motors first, they also had the cabinet from the crossing there too and told Alex that we could have the relays. Several rectifiers later and flasher relays we started to load the Safetran Unilens. I took 3 of them, none had the bases so I will have to make one at Ranken. Two are going to be made into a double stack dwarf, the other Alex is going to do something with. These crossing signals are going to be placed at the ATT&NW Railroad.
