Project #0751 - Restoring a GRS 2A Dwarf Semaphore used on the Chicago & North Western Railroad.
Page 1

I had plans to get this dwarf from another collector a while back and work had just stopped me from getting it. This project is not to hard, the dwarf works and has the ability to go to all positions. It just needs a good sanding and repainting. I was not going to install this in the front yard but I put a quick disconnect The spectacle is a remake and I need to paint the blade on the front. These were only used in Chicago and have a unique light housing. This also needs 110VDC to operate. I had to hand paint the blade and yes I painted it crooked.... though I am not going to repaint it! This was a pain.
